WSCC CH HOOFPRINT COSMIC RAJA V HYLOWE Sire: Hoofprint Leamon     Dam: Hoofprint Abby Owner: Tiffany Tittl          Breeder: Joane Chanyi October 16, 1994 – September 6, 2004 9 years 11 months
The cause of death in this patient was acute rupture and hemorrhage associated with metastatic hemangiosarcoma. The primary tumor is difficult to ascertain, but the spleen, liver, mesentery, lung, heart  (right atrium) and colon were all involved. She had a one-year history of hind limb paresis, and evidence of both inetervertebral disc disease and degenerative myelopathy was present on examination. There is no evidence of digestive system, skin, ocular or other skeletal diseases. Most of the report is a description of the various organs involved in the cancer and the cells they contain. Supplemental Report:  The degenerative myelopathy lesions noted are believed to be secondary to the multiple disk protrusions noted grossly and not due to the hereditary form of German Shepherd degenerative myelopathy.
